The Rock Sings Hit Moana Song For Child With Brain Disorder (Video)

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who is also known as Maui from the movie “Moana,” did something really cool. On a Sunday, he posted a video on X (what people used to call Twitter) where he sang “You’re Welcome,” a song from “Moana,” just for a little girl named Naomi. Naomi is in the hospital because she has a problem with her brain, and she really wanted Maui to sing to her.

The Rock wrote with the video, “Let’s sing together for Naomi. She’s 2 years old, in the hospital, and battling a brain disorder. She wished for Maui to send her a video singing ‘You’re Welcome.'”

He added, “There’s a lot of bad stuff in the world, but I believe that being positive and spreading light can really help, especially kids like Naomi who are having a tough time. I hope this song makes you smile, Naomi. And remember, Uncle Maui is here to sing ‘You’re Welcome’ whenever you need it. Thanks to everyone who’s watching and sending good vibes.”

This song from “Moana” was so popular that it got The Rock onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time ever. He sings, “What can I say except, ‘You’re welcome’/ For the tides, the sun, the sky/ Hey, it’s okay, it’s okay/ You’re welcome/ I’m just an ordinary demi-guy.”
