2-Year-Old Boy Dies Of Starvation After Father’s Fatal Heart Attack At Home
A heartbreaking incident occurred approximately nine months ago in Geneva, New York, where a two-year-old boy and his father died, leaving the community devastated. The cause of their deaths was only recently disclosed by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office following a comprehensive investigation.
The victims were identified as David Conde Sr., 59, and his young son, David Conde Jr. They were found dead in their apartment on February 15 of this year. Initially, the cause of their deaths remained unknown as there were no visible signs of foul play or physical injuries on either victim. Further investigations were therefore needed to ascertain the cause.
The recent revelation from the Sheriff’s Office shed light on the circumstances surrounding their tragic deaths. According to the findings, David Conde Sr. succumbed to complications related to cardiovascular disease. In a poignant twist, his young son, David Conde Jr., died due to malnutrition. Carbon monoxide poisoning was initially considered but subsequently ruled out, making the case more emotionally challenging for the investigators, as shared by Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant, Dave Cirencione.
The welfare check on Conde Sr. was initiated by concerned family members, who had not heard from him for over a week. Interestingly, there were no known medical conditions or diagnoses associated with Conde Sr., making his death even more unexpected and shocking.
The loss of a father and his young son under such circumstances is profoundly saddening. Their demise has left an indelible mark on their family, friends, and the wider community. In this difficult period, we extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the deceased. We wish them strength and solace in the cherished memories of their loved ones and hope for peace for the departed souls.
