People Are Not Happy With Chick-fil-A After Seeing This Video

Chick-fil-A is one of the most successful fast-food chains. They do not only offer great food but they are also known to provide some Christian values to their patrons. However, there is a circulating TikTok video and people are saying that it seems to be a far cry from the wholesome and Christian image that you can find in almost every Chick-fil-A restaurant in the country.

The video was shared by an anonymous employee who is afraid of exposing their real identity for fear of losing their job. And as soon as the video has gone public, it quickly went viral. The video footage has been viewed over 7.8 million times!

And it was not a surprise when more and more people are leaving their opinion of what the video footage depicted. In fact, it has caused people to question whether Chick-fil-A deserves their loyalty. Or maybe it is time to look elsewhere if they have a craving for good chicken.

The video footage shows an employee of Chick-fil-A dumps huge trays of waste containers that are filled with cooked chicken. According to the anonymous employee, the dumping of loads of cooked chicken at the end of the day is a daily routine. He also states that he is not doing this on his own. He is directed to throw them away.

Still, the video had viewers show their distaste for Chicken-Fil-A’s wastefulness. Majority of those who have seen the video were furious because of the amount of leftover food that is being thrown in the garbage. Some who watched the video believe the leftover food should be donated. One person even said that Jesus would not be pleased by how this restaurant handles the food that could have fed a lot of people.

There were also a few people who suggested that instead of throwing them away, the management should have let the employees take the food home. Some even shared that some restaurants make it standard practice for employees to take the food home instead of dumping them in the garbage. But a few people think that it was illegal for employees to take the food home.

According to some viewers, it was necessary for Chick-fil-A to dispose of the leftover chicken because it would be unsanitary to give to anyone. Not knowing the cleanliness and safety of the food, some believe that people can become sick if they eat those chickens. Also, one experienced food handler said that what the Chick-fil-A employee did was right because the act of giving unserved food away for disposal is illegal in the foodservice industry.

There are a few people who also shared their work experience while working at different restaurants. They said that they did the same as Chicken-Fil-A with their unsold food. There was another former employee who mentioned that there was a time that they had to throw a lot of food.

Food is a basic need of a human being. It is such a waste to throw away that much food. But for sure, Chick-fil-A has a valid reason for instructing an employee to throw the leftover chicken in the garbage. Still, the actions of the restaurant have surely received mixed reactions from the internet.
