Employee Of Disneyland Paris Who Ruined An Onstage Sleeping Beauty’s Castle Proposal Apologizes

An employee of Disneyland Paris has issued an apology after it appears that he was the one responsible for spoiling a mans’ proposal in front of the castle of Sleeping Beauty. The employee just barged in between the couple as the man had just gotten down on one knee to propose marriage to the woman.

The video evidence that was caught at the incident clearly shows that the employee did not act appropriately and was in the wrong here.

This now-viral video shows a man proposing to his girlfriend in front of the castle of “Sleeping Beauty.” In the video it was obvious that the couple was entranced by the enchanted moment. Both of them are beaming with happiness, and the woman appears to be beside herself as the man of her dreams is finally on his knee proposing to her.

However, that romantic moment did not last long when a member of the staff rudely interrupted them.

The employee runs between the couple and grabs the ring box from the man’s hands while he was still kneeling and presenting the ring to the woman he loves. After that, the employee then exits the platform and encourages the pair to do the same.

The groom-to-be looks completely shocked as he tells him, “But she said yes.”

The attendant then insists, “That’s great, but over here will be even better.”

Thankfully, the woman was already able to say yes to the proposal before the disgruntled Disneyland employee snatched the ring out of the groom-to-be’s hand and then brought it down the stairs to the open area off stage.

It was reported that another staff at the park had given the man who was proposing permission to do so on the stage in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. Even though he believed he did nothing wrong, the park official considered him to be in violation of the regulations.

It is unclear what type of compensation the couple received from Disneyland. Hopefully, it was sufficient enough to compensate them for ruining this once-in-a-lifetime magical event that turned out to be a complete nightmare.

Even though it didn’t go exact;u according to plan, they did end up being engaged in front of the Sleeping Beauty castle.

As soon as the video of the proposal went viral, many people called out Disneyland for how one of its employees handled the situation.

One commenter said: “I’m sorry, but that staff member was so rude and unprofessional. Taking away such a special moment like that? There are so many other places they could have gone to ask them to leave.” Another wrote: “I would’ve been livid. What a way to ruin such a special moment.”

This person said: “If they had permission, then the staff member was 100% in the wrong. That’s terrible customer service.”

Then this commenter added: “How embarrassing for Disneyland.”

Talking to the New York Times, a Disney spokesperson stated: “We have offered our sincere apologies to the couple concerned and we will do everything we can to make this up to them.” The spokesperson added that they “regret how this was handled.”

Everybody thinks that this apology doesn’t exactly make up for what should’ve been a truly magical and memorable moment that the newly engaged couple can never get back.
