As a parent, we need to give our children a break, especially when it comes to things that we expect from them. Let your kids be kids. They will commit mistakes and we should be there to support them and teach them right from wrong. We have to admit that there are parents who resort to physical punishment when they do not get the results that they expect from their children.

This attitude resulted in a heinous crime when a 7-year-old.

Ethan Hauschultz eas reported dead in Wisconsin, USA, in April of 2018. The medical examiner’s reports reveal that the boy died from hypothermia and blunt force trauma to the head, chest, and the abdomen. The boy also had a fractured rib. Ethan’s death created suspicions which is why an investigation was initiated in order to find out the cause of the injuries that the boy incurred which resulted in his death.

There is recent evidence from the investigation showing that his family, specifically his parents – Timothy and Tina Hauschultz, and his 15-year-old brother, Damian, were the ones responsible for Ethan’s untimely death.

Ethan was not only brutally murdered, but he was cruelly punished by his parents, only because he could not memorize verses from the Bible!

The documents received from the court reveals that Ethan was forced to carry a 44lbs log around their backyard, in the snow, for two hours every day as a form of punishment for not remembering his Bible verses. This punishment lasted for one week. When he would grow tired and would not be able to complete the punishment, he will receive more punishment through violent beatings and be buried deep in the snow suffering the unbearable temperatures.

The sad thing is that Ethan is not allowed to wear a coat or boots, or any protective gear while being punished in the snow.

Reports also show that Ethan was closely monitored by both his mom and dad or his 15-year-old brother, to make sure that he carried out his punishments. His brother would allegedly kick and punch the young boy too. The officers believe that this happened at least a hundred times. Aside from this, his older brother would also roll the heavy log over Ethan’s chest and would stand on his head and body while the poor boy is lying face down in the ice puddle outside their home.

In addition to this, reports also claimed that Timothy and Tina are not Ethan’s biological parents – they are his adoptive parents. The legal documents revealed that Timothy and Tina are Ethan’s court-appointed guardians, as well as for his two siblings including his twin.

Because of what happened to Ethan, many people lost faith in child protection services as well as the system. People are questioning whether the system can still be trusted and if the officials really do a complete background check on the adoptive families.

Ethan’s 15-year-old brother, Damian, was charged with first-degree reckless homicide. His adoptive 48-year-old dad, Timothy, was charged with felony murder and felony contributing to the delinquency of a child. The 35-year-old mom, Tina, on the other hand, was charged with failing to prevent bodily harm and also for intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child.

An innocent little boy lost his life because and everyone is praying for his soul to have peace in heaven. He did not deserve the life that he had with his ‘family’ but everyone is glad that justice has been served.
