Teacher ‘Farts’ In The Middle Of Zoom Class And Her Students Can’t Hold Back Their Hilarious Reaction

Zoom classes can be boring. And sometimes, the class needs an ice breaker. Well, what happened to this class was definitely not something that the students expected. And this ended up being an unforgettable Zoom class, even for us.

When someone farts and well, if it’s a big one, all kids can agree that it’s the funniest thing ever! Well, we can’t blame them because even us adults still find it just as funny. And you know how these unfortunate events happen unexpectedly.

When this teacher felt that her 3rd-grade class needed an ice-breaker to lighten the mood on her online teaching class this month, she knew exactly what to do.

Emma Ginder is a third-grade teacher in Topeka. While she was talking to her adorable students over a Zoom class about their “journeys books,” an undeniable noise of a loud fart echoed through the air. It was quick but for sure, everybody heard it, probably even those who were not too keen to give their undivided attention to the class.

Then there was a brief but heavy silence…

Then Emma was unable to help herself so she burst out laughing and had to turn away from her screen. That was all the go signal that these kids needed to laugh too. And minutes later, the 3rd-graders Zoom class meeting was in chaos.

How Emma tried to hold back her reaction was amusing. But when her school kids started commenting, they are even more hilarious.

One little boy asks, “What was that?”

Another one got curious too, asking, “What was that?”

The first kiddo replies, “I think she farted.”

And yep. That’s all the confirmation that was needed to set them all off laughing their hearts out. The camera picks up the noise of all their giggling as it flicks from one kid to another. Each of them was unable to hold back their laughter.

Then one kid says, “That was a big one.”

The situation got even funnier. Emma tries to save herself from the shame that she has brought about to herself claiming that she doesn’t know who that was. But one of her kids argues, saying, “It was you!”

Then another round of laughter followed while Emma tries again to calm down the kids. She says, “I don’t know who it was, but whoever was might be a little embarrassed, so let’s stop.”

Then one of the kids shamelessly replies, “I still blame you.”

For sure some of them noticed that when the fart sound echoed, the camera stayed on Emma, and if you understand how Zoom operates, this happens when the sound came from her end. So her kids know that their teacher is guilty.

But of course, Emma did not accidentally fart while in class. As it turned out, Emma played a fake fart noise to “lighten the mood.” And well, it looks like it worked!

Sharing the video of this hilarious moment with her students to Facebook, she wrote:
“Some days you just have to play a toot sound during class to lighten the mood. Way too good not to share. Also, I apologize for having the maturity of an 8-year-old boy 🙃”

The post quickly went viral in a matter of days. Well, it seems like we needed that ice-breaker after all!
