Women Give Birth To ‘Decuplets’ But Then She Mysteriously Disappears

Gosiame Thamara Sithole made history as she has done what most women would consider impossible. On June 7th this year, the 37-year-old from Tembisa Township in Ekurhuleni in South Africa has allegedly given birth to decuplets (10 babies) at a hospital in the city of Pretoria.
If this is true, then there is no doubt that she will be earning the world record which is currently held by Malian Halima Cissé who gave birth to nine children in Morocco in May 2021.
According to reports, when Gosiame saw her doctors earlier in the pregnancy, they had only detected 8 babies through her medical scans. On June 7, 2021, the new mom delivered her seven boys and three girls by Caesarean section.
In a previous interview with Pretoria News, the couple who already has six-year-old twins said that Gosiame got pregnant naturally and she was not on any fertility treatment. And in a separate interview with IOL News, Thamara’s husband, Teboho Tsotetsi said: “She was seven months and seven days pregnant. I am happy. I am emotional. I can’t talk much. Let’s talk again in the morning please.”
But after the news broke, things took a foul turn. The joyous father was always the one present on the news but everyone also noticed that the mother is nowhere to be found.
And to make matters worse, a 47-year-old Sibongile Gxekwa came forward claiming that Teboho Tsotetsi is her husband. And that he cheated on her with Gosiame. She also said that he moved his lover into his mother’s home.
In an interview with News24, Gxekwa said, “When he started his escapades of going out at night, I confronted him about the cheating… At the time, I didn’t know who she was. He has not told me anything about his new 10 children. He has ordered me to not speak to the media about this matter.”
The situation was so messed up that even the South African government got involved. They said that they could not track down Gosiame. But according to local officials, they had found her but could not trace which hospital had recorded the birth.
Wilson Machaya, a neighbor of the family in Tembisa, told The Associated Press that “For her to receive 10 blessings at one given time, we thank God for that. And because we are neighbors we will have to assist in any way possible.”
And speaking to TimesLIVE, the children’s aunt said: “The babies were born and are still in incubators fighting for their lives. They came at 29 weeks; the mother is still weak. And as a black family, we want to protect them. This is a sensitive issue.” She adds that Sithole was in high spirits and was healing at a hospital.
Recent updates say that the Gauteng social development department says that the mother of the “Tembisa 10” have contacted them after a missing person’s case was opened. In a statement, they said: “The Gauteng Department of Social Development wishes to confirm that the mother of the decuplets is not missing.”
Even up to this day, no pictures of the babies have been sent to the family. Allegedly, the mother cannot go into the NICU with a cellphone that can be used to take photos.
The South Africans are very excited for this to be proven true. They are eagerly waiting for proof of what would be a world record. But according to relatives and neighbors of the couple, they insist that the news is true.
