Wynonna Judd Is “Heartbroken” as She Shares Health Update With Fans

Well, this surely isn’t how Wynonna Judd expected to start off 2023. As one half of the mother-daughter duo, The Judds, Wynonna is making sure that her mother’s legacy lives on. Prior to her mother’s death in April 2022, the country music duo was scheduled for their final tour and even while grieving, Wynonna pledged to continue with performing for adoring fans.

Unfortunately, the “Love Can Build A Bridge” singer has run into a major obstacle and shared a health update with fans on Instagram before a scheduled show in Nashville.

In the caption, Wynonna explained that she’s dealing with “an extreme bout of vertigo” which hindered her from hitting the stage with Kelsea Ballerini. She continued by writing, “Nashville, I am absolutely heartbroken and so sorry to have let you all down tonight. Kelsea, I look forward to stepping onstage with you in February, better than ever!!!!”

For those of you who’ve never dealt with vertigo, consider yourself lucky. The condition can cause major dizziness, nausea, and can even lead to hearing loss in serious cases. Vertigo is caused by a problem in the inner ear or brain which makes it difficult for a person to maintain balance and stay stable. It can be caused by a variety of conditions such as Meniere’s disease, vestibular neuritis, and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

Although, the severeness of Wynonna’s vertigo is unclear, fans quickly rushed to the post’s comment section to leave encouraging messages like:
“You haven’t let anyone down. We are here for you, we love you, and we want you to put yourself first!”
“We all hope you feel better❤️”
“Always take care of you 1st. You haven’t let anyone down. Hope you feel better soon.”
“Vertigo is no joke. Please be well and get rest! 🙏🏼🙏🏼”

After her health update, Wynonna shared this heartwarming post on her Instagram story thanking Kelsea Ballerini. Kelsea reposted on her Instagram story and wrote, “favorite quote 🤍.” The quote called “The Woman in the Arena” is a great, inspirational reminder for Wynonna as she must put her health before performing.

Wynonna is not alone in this battle, and she has the support of her fans, family, and friends. They all are wishing her the best and a speedy recovery because her health is more important than a show. It’s always hard to cancel an event, especially when it’s something you’re passionate about and love doing. But it’s vital to listen to your body and put your health first.

We wish Wynonna all the best as she battles through this vertigo, and we hope to see her back on stage, better than ever, soon. Fans are looking forward to her next performance and hoping that her health is all better. The country music legend has a special place in many people’s hearts, and we all hope to see her back in action soon.
